CONFIDENCE STARTS WITH CARE
Before you use AI,
take a PAUSE.
Good teaching stays human. Use these five checks before bringing AI-generated materials into your classroom.
PProtect personal information+
Never enter sensitive student information into AI tools. Use general classroom descriptions without names, diagnoses, behavioural notes, family details, or assessment marks.
AAssess accuracy+
Double-check facts, calculations, and explanations. Verify that the content aligns with your curriculum and learning objectives.
UUnderstand bias+
Look for stereotypes, unfair assumptions, and missing perspectives. Adapt examples to respect your learners and their cultural contexts.
SSafeguard copyright & context+
Check that materials suit your students and respect copyright. Disclose when AI tools have been used.
EEducator remains responsible+
You hold final responsibility for classroom materials and learning. Review every draft, make changes, and use your professional judgment.
